Mother's Day Give Away

Louise and I have decided to create a lovely giveaway in time for Mother’s Day, sharing what we both create using different methods of flower preservation.
Over the year, there have been so many changes in how we currently work as creatives and how to show our work to you. Fewer craft events has meant that we have used our time, to connect with designers, that we possibly would not have worked with. Louise and I this year, are celebrating our different flower preservation methods and working together on some interesting projects.
Earlier this year we swapped our crafts, I just love how Louise’s Vases show all the details of the flowers veins and leaves when imprinted into the clay. To see more of Louise’s work visit her website.
Both Louise and I share similar qualities, our love for natural found objects, items that remind us of special days, a beautiful summer’s day at the beach with a beautiful pebble to a delicate seed head in the winter.
We both love to grow flowers, pick, and then use them in our work. We sow wildflower seeds to support bees, butterflies and other pollinators to ensure that we put back more than we take.
Our work has a relationship with memories of nostalgia, childhood, family and collecting and keeping items. Our pieces capture these memories in a floral form by using the flowers and fauna that are meaningful to you. On our sites you will find some of our pieces that celebrate nature preserved in its perfect form.
How to enter the Mother’s Day Give Away
To celebrate the knowledge shared we are doing a giveaway in time for Mother’s Day. This will run until the 6th of March 2021 in time to post to the winner.
One winner will receive a beautiful snowdrop vase created by Louise Condon @ceramic_botanist and a gorgeous 18” Sterling Silver Small Botanical Glass Necklace filled with dried blue cornflowers by myself @LizzysStudio.
