Dandelion seeds always feel a bit magical. These are the very first seeds of the season, collected from my garden, dried, then carefully placed into the glass and sealed away from the elements. Each mini globe holds just three seeds, like three small wishes you can wear.
Because these are Super Seconds, each necklace has its own tiny handmade quirks. You can choose the finish you prefer, and most are only noticeable when you look very closely.
Glass character: tiny air bubbles, gentle swirls, or fine marks in the glass that show it is truly handblown, and catch the light in a lovely way.
Slightly off centre top: the topper sits a touch wonky, which gives the piece a more relaxed, handmade feel.
A hint of natural speckle: a few tiny particles inside the globe that have come from the dandelion seeds, adding to the “real flower” nature of the piece.
This necklace is now £18 (was £50) as part of the Super Seconds Festival. It is a beautiful, wearable piece with a small quirk, still made with the same care and intention.
