Commissions and Keepsakes

Over the years I have created many special pieces for my clients to treasure and keep their special moments alive. It all started off with my own children and them bringing in lovely treasures and picked flowers from the garden. Each day out side they would find little stones, snail shells, wild flowers to our holidays on the British beaches with sea glass and shells. These would slowly collect on my kitchen shelves as little reminders of those moments. It was one afternoon when they brought the flowers from the garden that we tried to preserve the flowers by drying them out. I wanted to find a way to keep them but how as they were so delicate.

From this point forwards I found a way of drying them to keep them at their best and encapsulating the flowers in the glass jewellery. I felt that I wasn’t the only one that would like to hold on to special moments and now I dry flowers for so many different occasions.
