The Maker’s Story

Collecting flowers for my pendants

Hello, I’m Lizzy and the creator behind the botanical glass jewellery.

When my children were toddlers, they would bring in flowers and special things that they wanted to give me as presents. These beautiful snail shells, pebbles and wildflowers would sit and be admired on my kitchen windowsill until the next collection came in. Those petals that fell and dried on my windowsill, were the little moment everything began. I wanted to capture the memories in a keepsake.

I started growing more flowers because they carry different meanings to people and with them, different memories and nostalgic feelings were stirred. The Wellcome Trust Museum found me and took me on as a supplier for their shop. They wanted more pieces than I had flowers, I started working with flower farms in the UK to create my botanical collection.

Over time I have taken your special moments, from 12 year old first date flowers and treasures picked up on special walks, to feathers, whiskers and tiny finds, right up to your wedding day flowers, which I have encapsulated into glass keepsakes for you.

I love to hear your stories and take on your commissions to create a bespoke piece for you.

Get in touch and let's talk about what we can create together.
