A bright little glass globe filled with real coreopsis petals, grown in my London garden and dried to keep their sunny yellow colour. Each necklace is hand filled petal by petal with tweezers, so every piece has its own natural layout and glow.
Coreopsis is a cottage garden classic that brings bees and butterflies into the garden and it has a lovely reputation for symbolising warmth, joy and heartfelt affection. It is the kind of flower that feels like a small boost of sunshine, even on a grey day.

This necklace is now £20 (was £50) as part of the Super Seconds Festival. This is a slight seconds piece in the Tops category, which means the topper is a little wonky because the glass was not perfectly shaped when it was attached. It is a tiny quirk that does not stop it being a beautiful, wearable necklace.
