Statement Spiral Vine Necklace
£495.00

Handcrafted Sterling Silver Statement Spiral Vine Necklace.

A one-of-a-kind sterling silver pendant, inspired by nature and formed using Mitsuro Hikime, an ancient Japanese wax-shaping technique. A long, twisting vine that spirals continuously from top to bottom, finished in soft white silver with a high polish.

This kind of texture can only happen one way, by hand, slowly, with warm wax. Mitsuro Hikime is an ancient Japanese technique where wax is stretched again and again until it settles into fine ridges and lines of its own accord, far more like something that's grown than something that's been shaped with tools. The wax never moves quite the same way twice, so the pattern it leaves can never be exactly repeated. This pendant carries the one and only version of its particular twist.

For the Spiral Vine Necklace, that same hand-stretched wax was formed into a long, continuous spiral, winding down from the bail to the tip the way a vine winds round whatever it's climbing. Once the wax form was right, it was cast in sterling silver and finished in soft white silver, with the curves burnished to a high polish that catches the light beautifully against the matte texture in between. It hangs from a fine sterling silver curb chain, letting the pendant take centre stage.

It's a lovely piece for everyday wear, but with enough presence to hold its own for something more special too, a true one-off that won't be seen on anyone else.

Details:

  • Style: Continuous spiral vine pendant, burnished highlights against a matte texture

  • Inspiration: A climbing vine, winding as it grows

  • Technique: Mitsuro Hikime, hand-formed in wax, then cast

  • Materials: Solid sterling silver

  • Pendant drop: 8.4cm

  • Chain: 18 inch sterling silver curb chain

  • Handmade: In the UK studio, one off piece, never repeated

As this is a one-of-a-kind piece, once it's gone, it's gone. If you'd like a similar spiral design made to different measurements, get in touch to discuss a bespoke commission.

A lovely gift for someone who loves nature, individuality, and jewellery with real story behind it.

A lovely gift for someone who loves nature, individuality, and jewellery with real story behind it.

This collection marks a real shift in how I work. After years of creating with real flowers, grown and dried by hand, I found myself drawn to a different way of capturing nature, one that starts not with a petal but with wax.

Mitsuro Hikime is an ancient Japanese technique, over 1,300 years old, where wax is stretched slowly by hand until it finds its own pattern, never carved, never moulded, never quite the same twice.

The result is texture that looks almost grown, lines that echo bark splitting or leaf veins.

Each piece is cast in solid sterling silver and finished entirely by hand.

Every ring, earring, and necklace in this collection is one of a kind, because the wax simply won't behave the same way twice. It's been a new way to create pieces, in a calm and meditative way, bringing the same love of nature and texture into silver that I've always brought to flowers.

I hope you find something here that feels like it was made just once, for you.

Statement Long Twist Leaf Earrings
£390.00

Handcrafted Sterling Silver Statement Long Twist Leaf Earrings.

A one-of-a-kind pair of sterling silver stud earrings, inspired by nature and formed using Mitsuro Hikime, an ancient Japanese wax-shaping technique. Two long, gently twisting leaf forms, slightly asymmetric in drop.

Every line in this texture came from the wax itself, long before the silver was ever poured. Mitsuro Hikime is an ancient Japanese technique that depends entirely on patient hands, warming the wax and stretching it again and again until it settles into ridges and grooves that feel grown rather than made. The wax never stretches in quite the same way twice, so what's captured in the final piece can never be exactly repeated. This pair holds a pattern that exists nowhere else.

For the Long Twist Leaf Earrings, that same hand-stretched wax was shaped into two long, leaf-like forms that twist gently as they fall, wide and full near the top before narrowing into a fine, spiralling point. The twist means the texture catches the light differently all the way down, giving real movement to a piece that's otherwise simple in shape. Once the wax forms were right, they were cast in sterling silver and finished by hand to keep that texture and twist clearly visible.

These are statement earrings with genuine presence, the kind that's noticed across a room and admired up close. A lovely choice for anyone who wants something striking, nature-inspired, and entirely their own for an evening that calls for a little more drama.

Details:

  • Style: Long, twisting leaf forms, full at the top, tapering to a fine point

  • Inspiration: The twist of a leaf as it falls and turns

  • Technique: Mitsuro Hikime, hand-formed in wax, then cast

  • Materials: Solid sterling silver

  • Drop length: 10.6cm and 10cm

  • Fastening: Stud

  • Handmade: In the UK studio, one off pair, never repeated

As this is a one-of-a-kind pair, once they're gone, they're gone. If you'd like a similar twisting leaf design made to different measurements, get in touch to discuss a bespoke commission.

Fine Leaf Earrings
£175.00

Handcrafted Sterling Silver Fine Leaf Earrings.

A one-of-a-kind pair of sterling silver stud earrings, inspired by nature and formed using Mitsuro Hikime, an ancient Japanese wax-shaping technique. Two slender leaf shapes, gently asymmetric, finished in soft white silver with polished highlights.

No two pieces made this way are ever quite the same, and that starts right back at the wax. Mitsuro Hikime is an ancient Japanese technique where warm wax is stretched by hand, slowly and repeatedly, until it settles into fine lines and ridges of its own accord, the kind of detail that can't be carved or planned in advance. Because the wax behaves a little differently every time, each piece that comes from it is genuinely one of a kind. These earrings carry that same individual character.

For the Fine Leaf Earrings, that hand-stretched wax was shaped into two long, slender leaf forms, each tapering to a fine point at both ends. They're not quite matched in length, one slightly longer than the other, giving the pair a natural, asymmetric feel rather than a perfectly mirrored one. Once the wax forms were right, they were cast in sterling silver and finished in soft white silver, with polished highlights along the edges where the light catches.

They're wonderfully light to wear, with all the texture and character of the collection in a small, everyday piece.

Details:

  • Style: Two slender, tapering leaf shapes, gently asymmetric in length

  • Inspiration: The fine, pointed form of a leaf

  • Technique: Mitsuro Hikime, hand-formed in wax, then cast

  • Materials: Solid sterling silver, soft white finish with polished highlights

  • Length: 40mm and 36mm

  • Fastening: Stud

  • Handmade: In the UK studio, one off pair, never repeated

Spiral Knot Vine Ring Sterling Silver
£375.00

Handcrafted Sterling Silver Spiral Knot Vine Ring.

A one-of-a-kind sterling silver ring, inspired by nature and formed using Mitsuro Hikime, an ancient Japanese wax-shaping technique. A fine spiral climbs and coils before a single tendril breaks loose.

Every piece that comes through Mitsuro Hikime starts the same way and ends up completely different. The wax is warmed by hand and stretched, slowly, until it settles into a pattern of its own, something closer to how wood grain forms or stone wears down over time than anything that could be carved or moulded. It's an ancient Japanese technique, and the unpredictability is the whole point. No two pieces have ever come out alike, and this one won't be repeated either.

For the Spiral Knot, that same hand-stretched wax was coiled tightly around itself, climbing up from a slim band before one fine strand breaks away and curls off on its own. It's inspired by the way a tendril searches outward once it's finished winding round its support, reaching for the next thing to hold onto. Once the shape was right in wax, it was cast in sterling silver and finished by hand, so every line and ridge from the original wax stays visible.

It's a delicate ring, but full of movement, the kind of piece that catches the light differently depending on which way the spiral turns. A lovely choice for anyone who loves nature and wants something with real craft and detail close up.

Details:

  • Style: Tight climbing spiral with a single curling tendril breaking free

  • Inspiration: Climbing tendrils and the way vines spiral round a support

  • Technique: Mitsuro Hikime, hand-formed in wax, then cast

  • Materials: Solid sterling silver

  • Band width: 4mm

  • Ring height: 7mm

  • Size: N½ to O

  • Hallmarked: Yes

  • Handmade: In the UK studio, one off piece, never repeated
