Handcrafted Wide Band Sterling Silver Leaf Ring.

A one-of-a-kind statement ring, inspired by nature and formed using Mitsuro Hikime, an ancient Japanese wax-shaping technique. A single curled leaf rises from a wide band, overlapping with a leaf finish.

It was shaped by hand, warming the wax and stretching it slowly until it found its own pattern, the way bark splits or a river carves its own path. The technique is called Mitsuro Hikime, an ancient Japanese method where the wax behaves a little differently each time it's stretched. That means no two pieces ever turn out the same. This one is the only one of its kind.

For this piece, that same hand-stretched wax was shaped into a wide band with a single leaf rising up from it, curling over at the tip the way a real leaf folds in on itself. Once the wax form was right, it was cast in sterling silver and finished by hand, so the texture from the wax stays visible right across the surface, including underneath where the leaf overlaps the band.

It's a substantial ring with real presence on the hand, but the wide band and rounded edges make it genuinely comfortable to wear, not just to look at. A lovely piece for anyone who loves nature and wants a ring that feels like it has weight and meaning behind it.
